海角社区's position statement on capital funding

海角社区 are calling for increased capital funding to ensure adequate resource to maintain and improve school buildings and estates, prioritising those schools with buildings in most urgent need of refurbishment. Funding must also be secured for improving energy efficiency of school estates, including the use implementation of renewable energy.

海角社区鈥檚 view is that the limited capital resources available should be prioritised in areas where there is clear and demonstrable need for SEND provision.

海角社区 will continue to campaign for an open and transparent system of capital funding that allows governing boards to plan for the future needs of their school.
